Terminate Method

Terminates a Composite Control object

Syntax

object.Terminate

object A variable that represents a Composite Control object.

Parameters

None

Remarks

Once an object has been terminated, it cannot be re-intialized or terminated again. Termination is not synonymous with object desctruction / de-referencing. Rather, it serves to release references to other objects when the object is no longer used. Object destruction will occur when all references to it are released. If Terminate() has not been called when all external references to the object have been released, the class method, Class_Terminate() will execute and run the Terminate() method.

Example

This example terminates a cControl_EventHandler object:

MyComboBoxEventHandler.Terminate
